While Ortiz vs. Couture II makes a lot of sense on paper (read: it would make a shit ton of money), but I can't see how they would book that as a title fight, it would be a slap in the face to all the top contenders that Ortiz would cut in front of. Then again, they could just make it a non-title fight and still sell more than half a million PPV buys.

Yep. I'm kinda pissed that we see almost every fighter fight like 3 or 4 times a year, and chuck has been at a steady two. if he doesn't get in 3 this year i'm gonna be...well...just more pissed than i already am

GSP has fought twice in the last twelve months, and one of those (BJ Penn) was exactly a year ago today. In other words, tomorrow he will have fought exactly one fight in the last twelve months.
I know it's due to these prefight injuries but damn. That's as many times as Evan Tanner has fought in the last twelve months!!

Randy vs. Tito II would be a huge PPV for UFC if that were to happen. Tito might be willing to go up to HW if it meant he got a title shot.

if tito gets a title shot at heavyweight thats pretty much retarded in my mind. tito hasnt done anything to deserve a title shot, if anyone in hw gets a tittle shot (seeing as gonzaga, cro cop, are tied up) it should be andrei arlovski, sure hes only won 1 fight since his return but hes a very marketable ex-champion and i think everyone would love to see cotoure vs AA definatly more then Cotoure vs Tito [just my 2 cents] also i dont think vera wouldnt get a shot seeing as how he only has 1 fight left on his contract and hasnt re-signed, p.s. whats vera waiting for? hes already been told by ufc that they wont match other offers to him but he hasnt signed anywhere else? anyone know what hes waiting for? does he have to wait until his last fight with the ufc is done before signing?
