Question about Judges Scoring
I'm not to familiar about how the scoring works but im just wondering why the Couture Sylvia fight was scored 10 - 9 across the bored and the Hughes Lytle fight was 10 - 7, i thought Lytle did more work than Sylvia did?

Someone scored the Lytle fight 10-7? I didn't pay close attention to the decision since it was obvious Hughes was goona win. None of those rounds were anywhere near a 10-7 round.

10-7 doesnt even exist in UFC scoring. Winner gets 10, loser gets 9. Dominate Winner gets 10, Dominate loser gets 8. The only way to get 7 points is to have a point deduction for rule infraction.

It was a 30-27 decision. Not to insult anyone's intelligence, but that's
10-9 for 3 rounds.

The OP doesn't pay attention. It was never 10-7 any round, it was 30-27 on all judges cards.

In 10 point must scoring, the winner gets 10 points and the loser gets 9 or less. So the score can 10-anything but typically if it's bad enough to score a 10-7 round the fight is really close to being stopped.

Okay, I was gonna say that judge needs fired. On a side note even Cecil People scored the Randy fight correctly. |

Thats only because he scored the first round 6-5 and the second round 14-13. The eventual numbers adding up to 50-45 was just a case of luck.
