Since Babalu lost again...
does a fight with Tito even make sense right now? it made sense after they both came off losses to Chuck, but now i don't think it makes much sense. maybe if they both ask for the fight it will happen, but who knows. what do you guys think?

I still think Babalu would beat Tito in a fightm, but of course his ranking must have dropped below Rashad and Jardine at this point. He should have just gone for a submission.

Tito's next fight is supposed to be in May I don't think that would be enough time for Babalu to recover from the vicious beating he took tonight and train for a fight of this magnitude. However after Lambert lost to Evans he got to fight Babalu, who I rank above Evans. So who knows what goes on in the mind of the UFC matchmakers. I would like to see Tito fight Evans or Jardine.

I never thought Id say this, but I can honestly say I could see Tito beating Babalu, and even though he lost, I dont really see any title contention matchs for Tito any time soon, because who honestly wants to watch Liddell smack Tito around for the third time. Maybe if Tito had won the first fight, but seeing he was dominated in both fights, I dont see it happening. I could however see Tito going for the belt again, if someone uprooted Chuck first, like say Rampage.

Tito vs. Rashad or Jardine would make sense. since Lambert lost to Rashad already these are future LHW match ups i see happening...
Tito vs. Rashad
Jardine vs. Rampage
Lambert vs. Jardine
Rashad vs. Rampage
Tito vs. Jardine
i think Rampage vs. Rashad would be a good #1 contender fight!

Who is talking about Chuck. Neither Babalu nor Tito will ever get a piece of Chuck again whether he loses the belt or not, so that story is over. As far as Tito vs. Babalu- apparently Lambert has power to KO, but Tito surely does not. I don't see how Tito could beat Babalu.

Tito has KO power. he KOd Shamrock, and even though "everyone" will say that Shamrock doesnt count and that he was out of his prime, he still got KOd. someone can get KOd in and out of their prime. Babalu has never had the greatest chin, we all know this. Tito would beat Babalu!

i have never thought babalu could beat tito and after his performace to night i think tito would finish him in the 3rd, tito has good sub d so i dont think he could sub tito, but i think tito could elbow a way to victory, and honestly i think he is gone after this fight

Well considering your talking about rankings over here, which quite frankly dont mean much at all, especially in UFC, considering the only fight Ive ever heard that a "number one contenders spot" could be in jeopardy was when Liddell fought Vernon White, it would only make sense if Tito and Babalu won all of their fights and worked their ways up to the one and two spots, wouldnt it make sense that one of them be entitled to a title shot? Glad Im not the only one who thinks Babalu wouldnt really stand much of a chance against Ortiz, because quite frankly I like nothing more than to see Ortiz lose, but I just cant see him losing to Babalu, it just doesnt fit for me.
