I think it was in the thread where Liddell talks about fighting Cro Cop, Shogun, and Fedor but i'm not sure. They may not have him ranked ahead of him, but a couple guys talk about how much better Overeem's standup is than Chuck's, and how he was beating him up until Chuck took him down (but Chuck won standing so I didn't know what they were talkin about). I threw Overeem in there just to show that some Pride fans actually think a guy who isn't even a Champion caliber fighter (would be if he worked cardio) is a better striker than the best UFC has to offer. But here is my 205 ranking just for the hell of it:
1 Shogun- my fav so i'm a little biased but him and Chuck are thisclose
2 Liddell- devastating striker, rock head, but starting to get pretty old
3 Arona- if he had better strategy he'd be unbeatable in my opinion
4 Wandy- just because I hate him don't mean i'll disrespect him
5 Babalu- I think Babalu is a top notch fighter, last 2 losses to Chuck
6 Rampage- looked rough in first UFC fight but still got the win
7 Lil Nog- took a tough L his last fight but everybody gets caught
8 Overeem- continuously loses to the top guys
If I forgot someone let me know, I admit I have a hard time distinguishing the Japanese fighters by name. But I believe Nakamura is the tough 205, but I didn't wanna put him in here for fear of looking like an ass.

LoL I thought you were one of the guys talkin about it. He was catching him early and often, but I don't think Liddell was ever in serious trouble. How did the fight end again?

So what if he wasnt in any serious trouble, neither was Overeem and Overeem rocked Liddell, forced the fight to the ground and overwhelmed Liddell on the feet until he gassed.

Overeem caught him with everything he had and Chuck just ate it. How could you say a man's striking is better if he can't hurt him? I'm tired of the Overeem gassing excuse, if he don't have the desire to work cardio that's his problem. If he was that good of a striker Chuck would have been sleepin with all the punches he got hit with, but he never even got seriously hurt. Then I believe Chuck put Overeem to sleep is how the fight ended, see this was my point when I said I seen people putting Overeem ahead of Chuck lol.

Your tired of the Overeem gassing excuse? how is it an excuse? Chuck is a much better fighter then Overeem, but he is not a better striker and your coming up with excuses for why Overeem isnt a better striker, and there ridiculous excuses.. watch the fight, he did hurt Chuck and you can outstrike someone without doing significant damage. No one is putting Overeem over Chuck, but Overeem is a better striker.

Because a man makes contact more often doesn't mean he's a better striker, that's just styles. Overeem throws punches in bunches and Liddell waits for the counterpunch sleeper. Who's striking style won out? I didn't say Chuck never got hurt, of course it hurt gettin punched in the face, I said he was never in serious trouble.

You clearly know nothing about striking and never have done any form of striking in your life.
