THQ May still have the rights.
People will still buy a Pride game no matter what happens.
THQ is the one spending money, not Pride
THQ will already have a engin for the UFC game, so cost of Pride game would be lower.

I think it's disgusting that i have to defend the idea because you have all the reason in the world why it won't work.

I have no problem at all with the game being made but now it just isn't the right time. Pride doesn't have the proper foothold in the American audience, the sales of the game outside of hardcore fans would probably tank.

It doesn't matter. I'm not making a Pride game with your money. All this is about is getting THQ thinking about it. IF we can get enough emails the THQ might take notice.

I understand the facts, but they mean nothing, we are just fans letting THQ know that we want another Pride game. What's wrong with that.

When I started this thread, I didn't want a debate, i didn't think there would be one. i honestly thought that the MMA forum members would work together and see what happens. i thought we might discuss ideas about a new Pride game and fun things like that.

Yet the first post I get is a negative comment insulting the entire process. When you looked at the thread your thought to yourself, "that won't happen, I'll have to make sure I'm the first person to tell them it's a bad idea and it's wrong.

Why did you do this? how does it help anything? Are you trying to save all the stupid people that might actually want to give it a try. Did you want to stop them from wasting precious minutes? Just tell me what good did you do by letting me know that Pride has better things to think about? Do you think I would tell you thanks, that you are right and this was a dumb idea? No you just wanted to try and be superior and hand down your negative opinion, rather than lending a hand to a community member.

How about an orginization career mode where you can play as sakakibara. Making financial decisions and marketing schemes to make the org flourish.

I totally agree. MMA is just too complex. Too many options when standing up (jab, uppercut, spinningbackfist, superman punch, plus a shit load else) and on the ground, there are too many different subs. It's not like wrestling where a wrestler has a "special" move, because every good mma fighter is versed.

i'd love to see an 07/08 pride game. create a fighter and a story mode, where you have to train your fighter, and juice is an option (jk), refuse offers from other nameless org's to boost your own value, and beat back the groupies, (something wand should have done apparently). and the screecher announcer is a must. should could even be a hidden fighter.

Yes, also I think a create a player mode would be excellent. training challanges that help you up grade your skills.

Pride wouldn't have to shell out a DIME to have this done... do you think the NFL paid EAsports to have them make Madden '07? in fact, its the other way around...

so really, given their money problems, this would be a great time for Pride to release a game.
