gomi vs diaz 2
i know this topic has bin talked about a lot but in a rematch for the title i still dnt see gomi winning. He will have to train really hard in submission defense and i still think nick will submit hit. I know nick got knocked down but he has could stand up a decent chin and i just dnt see him loosing to gomi.
who do u guys think will win the next fight

I thought Gomi looked pretty good until he gassed. Remember Diaz's face after the fight? Gomi definitely has a chance.

if gomi comes in better shape, he will win
that being said, i will not bet on him because i am disappointed in his last performance
but if Diaz doesn't win, he wont get another shot for a long time, or at least until the belt switches hands. i think Pride is likely to run Nick throught the gauntlet in the LWGP. they can throw Mach, Kawajiri, Ishida, Aoki, or Hansen at him, all of whom match up against Nick's style fairly well

Gomi doesnt normally gas that quickly, I think he'll win next time..I like Diaz more but gotta pick Gomi in a rematch.

I would bet money Gomi wins the next fight even agaiunst 2 to 1 odds. I would bet $100 to win $50.

So is the rematch scheduled for April so far or what? A friend of mine was over at Nick's house a couple days ago and said the eye is a lot better now. I don't know how serious his type of injury usually is but from the sounds of it I think he probably could be cleared for a fight in April/May. The favorite still probably would be Gomi, I would still pick Gomi. Nick's chances will just be that much better from the oddsmakers point of view.
