There was a thread that said a rematch was already confirmed for April but I don't know how valid the source was. Also, Diaz is suspended until August UNLESS he can get clearance from a doctor, in which his suspension will last until April 11th. That's why I also partially asked how serious his kind of injury is since I don't have much knowledge on it.

I think Gomi takes the rematch. Sad for Nick if this happens. Beat the champ, no belt. lose to the champ, no rematch.

think diaz beats gomi this time too, gomi is wild on the feet and a hard ass hitter, but the thing is, nick didnt get ko'ed from his power but he was droped and protecting him self on the ground, i would said diaz is the better striker just not the same power and alot better on the ground, i think nick takes it to the ground faster and beats him faster this time

I see Diaz winning again. His stand up is much better, alot of people talking about Gomi gassing but most of the reason he looked so bad was he kept talking ful shots to the head and that will slow anyone down.
Cant see it going any other way id favor Nick standing and on the ground

He took a lot of shots to the head AFTER HE GASSED, have you seen the Pulver fight?
Diaz is a better technical striker.. thats it! Gomi has more power and speed still

How do you figure? he cant take Gomi to the ground, Gomi would have to take him to the ground.. Nick would have to outstrike Gomi with the technical and reach advantage and being a southpaw hes capable of it but I cant see it happening because Gomi doesnt gas on his feet often, he came into that fight out of shape and the difference maker in the 2nd fight would be how serious Gomi trains for it.. if he comes into the fight in good shape hes gonna last a lot longer, and beat Diaz with speed and power.. if he comes into the fight out of shape again, hes done for again.
