Lil Nog vs Soko
I dont see a thread for this, but it should be discussed
what happened?
Is Lil Nogs overrated?
Did Soko just get in a Randleman punch?
How good is Soko on the feet?
Discuss!

Captain Obvious checking in here, Lil Nogs got caught with a hook to the jaw.
but seriously, I think anything beyond that is just speculation. not much to talk about if you ask me. Soku may end up being really good, or not. who knows. the fight was way too short to pass any sort of judgment. huge disappointment for lil Nog though. massive win for Soku. I'm sure Hendo was thrilled as well

Yea, all in all i would call this the biggest upset of the night. Nogs just got caught, that's all there is to it. Just goes to show you that anything can happen in an MMA.
I think Soko's next fight should be against Wandy, it will give Soko a chance to prove that his win over a top 5 205lber was not a fluke and it will give Wandy a good opportunity to knock someone the fuck out and build some confedence back up.

Nah I wanna see the rematch, Lil Nogs has to redeem himself
but what does this say about his chin?

Anyone got the vid to this? Need to see it again.
Anyways, I'm not thinking lil nogs was overrated. I think he just got caught and Soko saw the opportunity. I would love a rematch because I really think we could of got a much better fight out of this instead of a KO in less than 30 seconds.
Not trying to take anything away from soko either because he's a powerful guy training with Team Quest. I just need to see more from Soko I guess, that was only his 4th pro mma fight.

The real question is: WHO HAD $$ ON THIS FIGHT?
I think Soku was like a +1300. Before the fight my friends and I wer saying how we should have put something on it, just in case. Someone out there made a killing off this guy!

i agree, was to short to really tell, i mean ive never though lil nog was amazing on his feet or anything , and maybe soko is just a bad ass dude, or just a average guy with good ko power either way he put him to sleep, but it would really have to depend on more fights to see how he pans out, i wouldnt go far to say he is over rated, i just think he is a good ground fighter dont really no about striking, still everyone gets beat

Hes an olympic caliber boxer, maybe his striking was overexaggerated from the Shogun fight
but his chin... is it weak or is Soko just that powerful?

I couldnt make a good enough decision right now on whether it was Soko's power or if Nogs just has a weak chin. I mean this was Soko's 4th pro mma fight and his 1st KO. Lil Nogs has had 15 pro mma fights and this is the 1st time he has ever been KO'd. There's just not enough there to make a valid decision on whether it was Soko's power or Lil Nog's chin.

but then you gotta look at who Lil Nogs has fought
Overeem, Shogun, and Hendo are the only ones who are real KO threats but neither of them KO'd him
personally, im pulling the inactivity card here.. he fought once in the middle of 2006 and that was it.. now it doesnt look like hes too inactive but compared to the fighters around him it is..
