Do you guys think UFC will make bigger cards?

and by that I mean the number of matches.

Instead of 5 main card matches per ppv, wouldn't it be more exciting to see 7 or maybe 8?

The entire mystique around UFC fights is how heavily promoted they are. It's not like in Pride, where it's all about doing the talking in the ring. If they added more fights to their ppv, they would limit the amount of time for trash talking segments and hype videos. Not that that is a bad thing...it's just a different marketing strategy.

On another note, while the UFC only plans to air 5 televised fights, if there is extra time on the end they will tack on a couple of prelims. Usually the show will end up with about 7 fights aired.

UFC should make better fights and show all 8 or 9 fights when you order the ppv. For fuck sakes 40$ should be enough to see all of them. Every card should have 10 fights. 2 fights wioth newcomers, 3 with average fighters, and the other 5 with really good fighters.

The way UFC 69 is shaping up they are going to have some relatively big names on the undercard, I think they'll show at least 6 of the fights on that show.

Yeah UFC is better about catering to the U.S. crowd with there over hyping fights. So it is kinda hard for them to fit 7 or 8 fights onto one card unless there are allot of fights ending in the first round. I kinda like the hype around fights, however, I would like to see more than just 5 fights on a PPV.

they should for sure, they need to put more fights on the cards, ufc 68 looks good but ya 69 looks boring, i like serra but he would lose easily and diego vs. koscheck is a great fight that should be a ufn main event.
