Can anyone see Hendo giving up the title?
I mean now that he has two titles, like Clint said in his thread people are going to go insane now that at least one of the belts will be on the line an even fewer amount of times than before. Does anyone see Hendo maybe leaving the 205 belt vacant and Pride having a tourny (maybe move up the MWGP) to decide a new champion?

How about Pride just having there fighters defend there belts more?

Yeah Hendo's had the WW title for a year and 2 months and has still yet to defend it. I don't see him giving them up as long as PRIDE doesn't make him defend them. Shogun, Arona, and Filho are coming though, and they're hungry.

But Pride was never in this much trouble were they? they kinda need to change things up to stay alive, more title defenses might be jsut that I mean
they did have Title vs Title..

How do you expect Hendo to defend 2 belts on a consistent basis? Something has to give and I think a viable option may be, assuming Hendo doesn't lose after defending it once or twice, him giving up the MW title. We'll see I guess, what are the chances of Hendo having success in defending the MW belt? |

I wouldn't just give up one of my belts. I think he'll be a showoff and just defend them both. Im sure pride will find a way to do it.

Well the guy fights atleast 4 times a year, all his fights would have to be title fights for it to matter and Pride has the rosters to make that happen but Hendo cutting weight like this cannot be good for him but then again as soon as filho gets a title shot, he'll be champ but if I were Hendo, give up one of the belts.. you dont wanna take 2 loses on your record and lose both belts ya know and cutting all that weight and moving up and weight like that.. not healthy for his age.

Dan Henerson is only Contracted with Pride threw the end of 07, and in a recent interview he said that he would fight for the hightest bigger when that time comes.
I'm looking foward to the next year!
