Default Newbie question about Pride

Pride 33 was my first time seeing Pride on PPV and man was it ever an awesome show!

I was just wondering, what's next for Pride?

I noticed UFC is now doing monthly shows from now on (66 was in January, 67 was in February, 68 in March, and 69 & 70 both in April) but I was wondering, what about Pride FC?

How many shows on PPV do they have in a year? Do they just have numbered events like UFC? Or do they have tournaments and stuff on PPV as well every few months?

Do all of Pride's PPV's get shown on Bell Express Vu in Canada just like Pride 33 was?

Thanks.

The next PRIDE show is April 8th in Japan. It will be shown live on PPV. After that they are scheduled to do another US show April 28th. Then the LWGP begins in May and will take place over 3 PPVs.

PRIDE has # events and also has special GP(tournament) events. This year the LWGP will take place. The GPs are spread over 3 PPVs. They call them Total Elimination, Critical Countdown, and Final Conflict.

here's a list of PRIDE events from the beginning till now:

ok thanks alot.

So would you guys say there is probably about 7 or 8 numbered Pride events plus a GP each year from now on?

Oh and, is each Pride event broadcasted on PPV here in North America?

Let me take this oppurtunity to personally thank you for being such an optimistic MMA fan. Instead of coming here, saying "OMFG LIEK....UFC >>>> PRIDE LOL!!" you actually enjoyed the show for what it was. Instead of trying to compare it to the UFC and rejecting it because of bias, you accepted it with open arms. I applaud you.
