question about pride events

im just starting to get into pride

was wondering how there ppv's works

i heard once a year they have an open tornament for lightheavys and heavys to enter, is this an annual thing on certain ppvs

and how often do they have ppvs and are there any other events they have outside ppvs

All of PRIDE's events are on ppv in the states. They have events about every two months or so if I'm not mistaken. Someone else may clarify this.

They do have open weight tournaments, called the Open Weight Grand Prix. They also have Grand Prix tournaments within weight classes.

Ppv's are usually about $40 or so and they generally feature about 8 fights.

Their weight classes are fairly similar to UFC's but they do differ to some degree.
