he most certainly doesn't have a glass jaw. MAYBE slightly suspect. but only slightly. he was knocked out ONE TIME. in his first fight.

after a sub victory over aaron brink in his 1st UFC fight they threw him in with ricco and pedro, when they were extremely tough and successful. pedro came close to knocking him out--but it looked to me like he just broke AA's nose.

his next 6 fights were wins....and then came the sylvia losses, which were bullshit.

i think he has a great chance against mirko-- i still think mirko has the edge, but he is far from unstoppable, maybe even a weaker chin....

I'm all for a AA/Sylvia 4...Arlovski deserves that fight if for no other reason than to silence all the dipshits who actually think that Sylvia is a better fighter. I realize that that would only even things out between them statistically, but if Arlovski crushes him like the first fight, there would be no question.

The key to victory against Cro Cop for Arlovski is learning some brutal takedowns; I know CC has probably the best takedown d in the business, but I still think it can be done (hell, Chuck'll get taken to the ground eventually). Arlovski definitely has the edge in the ground game; the guy's a sambo master. He's got sick joint locks.

Sure, everyone wants to see a CC/AA slugfest; I kinda do myself, and I'm not saying that Cro Cop being knocked out is out of the question. As good as AA's strikes are, though, CC is a world class kickboxer.

Takedowns are the key.
