“Shootout” Adds Two MoreTwo bouts have been officially added to April 7th’s UFC 69: Shootout card at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
In a middleweight matchup between two up and coming 185-pound prospects, ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ season three winner Kendall Grove looks to improve on his spotless UFC record when he takes on always-entertaining Alan ‘The Talent’ Belcher.
Veteran welterweights will also trade blows when Marcus Davis - fresh off back-to-back wins over Shonie Carter and Forrest Petz – squares off against TUF4’s Pete Spratt.
UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre defends his crown for the first time against TUF4 winner Matt Serra in the main event of UFC 69, and the card also features a welterweight showdown between two of the division’s brightest young stars, Diego Sanchez and Josh Koscheck.

This fight card is looking horrible, and these two fights add nothing to it. I hope UFC 70 is much better.

Yeah, you can keep hoping but I dont think UFC will put out a good fightcard for a long time. The new fans dont give a crap and they're the money makers for UFC.

Look for a stand up war with pete spratt and marcus davis. Both like to bang. Marcus pounded Shonie, and shonie is no slouch; and Spratt pounded Lawler. This should be good.

It's not that bad as a card. There are some exciting fighters, if not very excited fights. 70 is looking better. Seems UFC is loading up some of the bigger shows for the foreign events, to really capitalize on newer markets. Unfortunate in some respects, but looks like the UFC is really diving into its new popularity.

this card is the one that's supposed to be on HBO, so i think they're probably going to just market the fact that there's a title being defended and its not on ppv. but swick/okami could be a great fight, sanchez/koscheck should be good, drago/leites could be interesting, and herring is gonna be on the card too, so dependent on him coming in healthy, that should be good. also, joe daddy and caol uno are fighting. this isn't as bad a card as people are making it out to be. and its two weeks before UFC 70 and just a few days after a UFN.

I think this is what we can expect from the UFC from now on, they want to saturate the market with their show. So they are going to put a lot of shitty cards together and then hit us with a really good one to keep you wanting more.
This card is mediocre at best.

Pulver's coaching TUF 5 and fighting in the finale, Alves got busted for an illegal substance, and MARQUARDT just fought not too long ago.
