Shamrock won round1

Sorry to start another thread on this, but I really thought shamrock was winning the fight. While it was standing he renzo with a couple of good hits. He did get taken down twice, and renzo threw like 2 punches, while shamrock hit him with like 20 knees to the side. Shamrock did the most damage in round 1, i dont see how people are saying Renzo when all he pretty much did was take him down and nothing.

So then Matt Hughes should've lost by DQ to Royce Gracie? Cause all he did was hit him in the back of the head. The answer? No. Renzo copped out and wanted no part of Frank. I'm not a big Frank fan. But moreover, I will say again, I think Herb Dean is the shiitiest ref I've ever seen. He fucks up more calls and screws up more fights than anyone else. It was bogus.

Big Jon McCarthy stops almost everry damn fight premature and even managed to stop the same fight TWICE and Herb Dean catches heat? Bullshit.. Herb Dean and Mario Yamasaki are damn good refs

No it's not no strikes to the back of the head are legal, punch's are just as illegal as knees. But you have to remember back of the head is only considered a strip down the middle of the back of the head not the sides like a round the ears.
