was renzo faking?

doesn't anyone else see that renzo gracie was maybe acting. I mean i've seen guys get knocked out before and still want to fight but this guys put on quite a show stumbling around like that! when they went to his locker room after the fight to see if he wanted togo to the hospitial he said no and started coughing like he had a cold! I mean come on frack shamrock only fault was agreeing to fight a gracie.

hmmm. Did look mighty strange. I've seen guys get hit with harder knees to the head and still could fight. After getting the thought of him faking out of my head, I thought he suffered a spinal injury because it seemed as if he couldn't walk at all for a while. Then they said he suffered a concusion. A concusion could do that (Even thought them knees didnt look that hard) but why the hell wouldn't he go to the hospital?? Thats crazy. Are you sure?

looked really fake, those knees werent that hard, his neck was extended though, i really just think he was getting wore out, what sealed it for me was when he was almost getting carried out of the ring but when he got closer to the locker room he was walking just fine and fast paced

Well reports say that backstage Renzo felt ill and began vomitting. That's a sign of a serious concussion. Also since this is the guy that had his arm broken by Sakuraba and didn't tap, I just don't see him faking.

where are the results for the Elite XC show? I wasn't able to watch last night and am curious to what happened. It doesn't look like they are on the main page either.

I think Renzo has MORE than earned the benefit of doubt. Shouldn't even be a question.

It was illegal knees by Frank Shamrock, not once, but twice. It doesn't take much for a concussion. Also, Renzo didn't know if he would win or not from a disqualification. If you watched, you would see that the ref made the call on how to call the end of the match (DQ). Renzo was winning the fight, why would he suddenly want to stop....hmmm. And if what everyone else says is true (as I've not seen the sakuraba fight). If he didn't tap from getting his arm broken, why would he suddenly quit in this one if he wasn't really injured? It doesn't make sense (unless you are of course hanging from Frank's hmm hmm).

I have a friend who is now a walking quad (no more than 40% use of a limb) having landed bad from a slam. I was not there for the accident but another friend was badgering him to get up and quit faking it. I was told that the slam looked like nothing compared to any of the ones others had taken that night.

I myself lost 5 minutes from a concussion in a lacrosse game. I was told I got up right away but that it was apparent my eggs were pretty scrambled. So I can see where Renzo would have been on queer street for a while.
