As for Renzo acting, watch the fight again. After the knees, he laid down and when you see his face again, his pupils are as big as nickles. You can't fake that. Those were eyes trying their hardest to focus.

Watching the fight again, Shamrock threw 8 punches to the the back of Renzo's head in the first 30 seconds of the fight. Renzo defintiely won round 1, and was more active than i originally thought (although most of his activity was in the last 15 seconds of the round.

round 2 Renzo got stung by Shamrock early on, and that was the end of Renzo's aggresiveness, including on the ground. I agree there was too little of the fight to be conclusive, but Renzo was a different fighter after that punch.

Forgetting about the end of the card, which was bullshit, the entire EliteXC program was like a really crappy knockoff of all of the legit MMA orgs. Crappy announcers, flaming dragon entrances, sub-par fights; i expected a lot more from show time.

I am a sports fan, not a pro wrestling fan, and i don't feel that they were courting my demographic. Seemed really campy. Goldberg was a pro wrestler, and there was no fighter in the booth to give analysis.

Put on a MMA show instead of pro-wrestling and we will talk.

I agree with a) but certainly not b). No way does it take 5 minutes to recover from "that", have you felt "that" before? My guess would be NO, eating unexpected knees to the back of the head will cause a concusion.

Renzo was winning the fight, he won round 1 and was well on his way to winning round 2, if he could continue, he would've.

Funny how the guy will not tap when Sakuraba breaks his arm, yet people are yelling "bullshit" when he eats illegal knees to the back of the head and gets a concusion. A concusion is a concusion, you don't continue fighting after sustaining one.

Tool, so a Gracie must KO someone to be respected?

Arona has never KOed anyone, Coleman never KOed anyone (even back in his early UFC days when he was a 250lb beast), Fedor has a whopping 1 KO on his resume as does Filho, your boy was getting his ass handed to him and made a bitch move by performing illegal strikes in both the 1st round and the 2nd round.

Frank had better train like never before because I assure you, Baroni will thump him and you'll probably have another excuse.

The best excuse is the "inflamed vagina", alwasy keep that one in your back pocket, you're goign to need it in April.

Taking your opponent down on several occasions, passing guard with ease on several occasions and completely controlling your opponent wins fights.

Still can't beleive Shamrock was that much of a coward to intentionally cheat so he could gain the upper hand or get DQ'ed so it is not a unanimous decision loss on his record but after hearing his post fight statements about it being his first loss in 10 years I knew then how delusional Shamrock is.

12 fights in the past 10 years and since the sport has reached it's largest phase of evolution (the transition from fighters in 2000 compared to how those same fighters and the rest of the top level MMA world evolved in 2002-2003 was by leaps and bounds) so since fighters became well rounded and world class, Frank Shamrock is 2-1 with a win over the 11-9 Pardoe, a win over Cesar Gracie who was 40 years old and was making his MMA debut and finally, Renzo Gracie whom was putting on a clinic and Shamrock tried to save face and pull out the bitch card and cheat.

Also, his last loss prior to this one, was to John Lober, sporting that ever so impressive 4-6 record.

If there is stalling/lnp the ref sill start a 15 second timer, once it is up, the fight is stood back up.
