yes renzo took him down, frank hit him with a few good shots standing and the ground renzo didnt do much and frank was using the knees to the side so that was about even

Even without the DQ he was losing. It was pretty clear that Frank's only chance to win was to KO Renzo. Renzo was taking Frank down pretty much at will and was dominating the control.

i mean what the fuck, you are supposed to be a pro. Its fucking unfied rules in the US. Anybody fighting any kind of mma needs to fucking know them, Maybe they should be tested on it before they are licensed to fight (if they already arent, which they prolly aint). Frank is a disgrace

a) Frank Shamrock is a bad liar - he knows the rules.

b) Renzo Gracie is a bad actor - he wasn't out and no way does it take over 5 minutes to recover from that. Imo he knew he only had to refuse to continue and he'd get the win, so that's what he did.

What a terrible way to end their debut event lol

Herb gave a warning to Frank for a strike to the back of the head in the first round. I clearly remember it, I will go back and rewatch to find around what time in. Also Renzo is a guy who had a limb snapped rather than tap, I dont think he is the type of guy to feign a injury to get a win. How much weight does a win like that really carry?
