Answer me this, what was the conflict between Shamrock/Gracie 1 when Ken tapped?

I've heard people say that. Haven't seen the full story, but I know another poster on here mentioned that Royce claimed Shamrock denied the tap until he got a "stern" look and knew the choke would be reapplied, so then he admitted the tap.

Oh yeah, there's also this from Wikipedia:
"Shamrock has later stated that Gracie used his gi suit as a tool for ligature strangulation to perform the submission, protesting the fact that he was not allowed to wear his wrestling shoes because the event organisers had stated that it could be used as a weapon, feeling that the rules for the tournament were created to favor Gracie."

idk to me it looked like ken was trying to say he didnt tap but it showed him tap 5 times

I thought he was arguing with McCarthy over why He wasn't stopping gracie, cuz gracie kinda started going again, and Ken was like, WTF? I TAPPED! |
