Heath Herring Kool-Aid line ?

Why does everyone continue to stand in this line ? I will give the man credit - He has guts, but the way everyone has jumped onto this "hype" machine" is unreal.

Just because you cut your hair with a machete, does not hide the fact that you telegraph every punch and kick, surrender your back like you are in the French Army, and pose as a well paid punching bag for the top contenders.

Yes, I have seen as many of his fights as you have, and yes I will say that he has had some entertaining bright spots --- That is not the point. My point is that he has been severely over-hyped and many have fallen for it. The reality is that his contract came as part of the WFA purchase, and the UFC is taking a stab at "hyping" him to shelter a temporarily weak HW division.

Put down the Kool-Aid please.

( and please do not put him on the main card in Texas )

Only reason they hyped him is just like you said...The ufc has such a weak HW. Heath has been around for a while and whether or not he's good, some people remember his name. I appreciate him for coming in with alot of heart but im not really a fan of him or his talent

who on here is making Herring out to be that great? What the hell are you talking about man? You make it seem as if Heath were getting the same pub as Mirko coming over. He may not be on the top tier of HWs with Fedor,Mirko,Big Nog, Barnett but he is definitly a solid fighter who has fought the best in the world. I want you to name me 5 guys in the UFC HW division that have the track record and expierence of heath. If you are in the top 5 at your weight in your company then I think they will probably have a spot for you on the main cards. he was hurt for the O'brien fight which is why he looked so bad, but he is without a doubt a solid, very exciting fighter. And if he is fully healed why the hell would you not have him on the Houston card?

Otherwise, the rest of your reply proves that you missed the general point that I do not care who he has fought, he has shown the same thing each time. Against lesser opponents he has sometimes prevailed-sometiimes not.. Against anyone of quality, he has looked like an ass. ( Sorry, but true). Outside of him having an "exhausted due to dismantling his face for 9:50min Fedor" in North/South for 10 sec, he almost had his head twisted off by Nog, decided the best strategy for CroCop was to just lie down in the middle of the ring with his feet in the air until the ref said to stand up and stop acting like an ass( joke ), and if Jake O'Brien knew how to throw 1 punch, 1 elbow, 1 anything, his last loss would have been much worst....Listen I made $850 off of the guy on Bodog vs O'Brien, so I like him for that !

by the way ..my knee is blown too ( but I will fight again in a few months anyway) what BS... Drink up my friend.

While this appears to be a response, It really is not. Again I will say Who on here has made Heath out to be the next coming? Just because it had been a little bit since I posted on here, that doesnt mean I dont read the threads. It means Ive been really busy at work lately and havent had the time to post, only observe. So I would really like you to back up what your saying with some evidence. From what your saying Heath is being hyped as the next coming on here and I just dont see it. So either back up your claims or go back to shitdog.

Oh yea and about the blown knee line, well Im happy for you that you can fight with a "blown" knee (who the hell knows what a blown knee is, want to use an actual medical term? or not lets just be as vague as possible) but im sure if you were trying to stop someone from taking you down the whole time, you wouldnt have much sucess.A "Blown" knee does adversely affect ones ability in a fight, thats why he looked so bad the against Jake thats all im saying.

lmao. Nice defense there buddy. The shitdog reference implys that your posts resemble someone from sherdog. You claim this forum hyped Heath to no end, I never saw that anywhere. I looked back alittle didnt see anything of the kind. If you say something was said on this forum YOU shouldnt have any problem backing it up, which you have a major problem being that you cant back up your arguement AT ALL.
