Mike Swick vs. Kendall Grove At UFC 69?

It just so happens that Mike Swick does not have an opponent for UFC 69: Shootout. So why not take the guy who hasn't been beaten yet and let 2 TUF Warriors battle it out for the #1 Contender's spot against Anderson Silva for the Middleweight title sometime this year. I say Swick vs. Grove is money!!!!!!!!!

Swick's fighting Okami and Grove is fighting Belcher at UFC 69.

Dammit, and that fight would've tore the house down. With Swick beating Loiaso (dont know how to spell his name). Just sayin it could be a 5 star fight.

I could see one of those fights being at the UFN that month instead. That card is in need of a real main event.

That won't happen. Dana won't take one of his new young talents and throw him to the wolves so soon. What would swick gain, and what has Grove proven to get a spot like that. He doesn't deserve anything like that yet.

It's Loiseau. I agree it would be an interesting fight. I think the UFC wants to ease Grove along though before they throw him in with a serious threat like Swick. Swick vs Okami should be pretty nice as well though. I'm looking forward to it.

there are better match ups for Swick, especially since he beat series of decent fighters. I wouldnt care so much for this fight at this stage if they put them together.

Grove vs. Belcher was originally scheduled for the UFN, but they switched it to UFC 69 recently. It looks like Florian vs. Mishima will be the Main event for that UFN.
