anyway tim is just the best guy on his block. it just happens that it wasnt very talented. now that CC showed up its over for him though. He's never been great he's been decent and he acts like a douche so all the hate that he gets he deserves

Cro-Cop is a vicious striker BUT he isn't exactly the most durable....ernesto hoost ended a fight with him with a punch to the chest...and in another fight almost broke one of his massive legs to end a fight....not to mention the monsters one punch knockout. It's totally different to talk crap about Tim but once you're in the cage with the 6'8" guy...he has a huge reach advantage that he always uses to his advantage....like it or not it won't be so simple as "he'll chop him down with leg kicks", reason.....his right hand with connect with mirko's face or worst..a body shot down the pipe. It's easy to trash talk Tim but hard to beat him!

Tim Sylvia will become an exciting fighter again once he loses to Randy or Cro-Cop, but till then i dont see him cracking his boring title defenses, and you know they have been the most boring 50 minutes in the UFC!!!!

why do alot of people seem to think tims height will make the difference in this fight, he fought aleks who is 2 inches shorter and a hell of alot better then tim and we all seen what happen in that fight. Only way tim can win this fight is with a lucky ko punch and odds are that wont happen because mirko wont leave him self open like that and if mirko decides to stand in front of tim and trade tim will already be to hurt from kicks and being picked apart, i see this fight being stoped because of the damage that will be inflicked during this fight that or a streight up ko

Poor Tim Sylvia. Everybody’s h8’en on him. He’s got two losses out of 25 fights, and those have been by submission. His wins are 16 (T)KO’s, 2 submission and 5 decisions. He lost to Frank Mir in July ‘04, then to AA eight months later in February ’05. His (T)KO’s consist of Jason Lambert, Ricco Rodriguiz, Cabbage, and AA.

CroCop’s record is much more impressive because of his opponents have been much better with better records. They don’t have a common opponent, so MMA math is not available.

I’m starting to feel for the guy. He does his interviews like a good soldier. He does the media dealys. He does the autograph dealy. He just hasn’t had the competition CroCop has. So THE FIGHT between them will be a VERY BIG DEAL for him and the UFC. The H8ers will want to see him get his butt whooped, and the rest will just want to CroCop fight.

I think tim would deliver a hard straight right than ernesto. I realize that ernesto is definatelly a better striker but i believe tim has the power advantage being taller and heavier.

Ya but Hoost is good enough to hit Cro-cop, I dont think Sylvia is.
