I wouldn't mind being in Kurt Angle's shoes, mans a multi millionaire, won the Olympics with a broken neck. Only 199 pounder in Free Style Wrestling History to defeat someone 100 pounds heavier than him.

I really want randy to couture to win, but would rather have tim sylvia win just so I can see crocop kick his face in, and not randy.
I already know the game plan for crocop against tim, leg kicks until he can't go on. AA proved this to be a technique against him, and CC is going to murder big tim's legs.

randy does have a chance. he may have been caught by liddell but tim doesnt have chucks speed of takedown d, i think randy can get tim down and can hit him from the gaurd to pound out a win.
i hope randy wins...

this wont go to a dec, if randy sees a chance to sub tim he will take it, but with randy pushing the pace he is open to being ko'ed

Is Randy taking it too lightly? |

Is Randy taking it too lightly?
Randy is one of my fav fighters but I think he may be taking the championship bout too carefree.
Being on Pros and Joes; Being one of the announcers a month before his scheduled bout. He is either super confident or foolish. Tim IS a big man and too chop that bohemuth down is a monumental task.
I wouldnt be suprised if Tim came out more aggressive than ever before and tried to end it quick just as Randy is shaking off the ring rust and in awe of the ovation. Being back in the ring after an earth shattering, retirement induced KO.
Shiiitt, for Tim I cant imagine a better motivatior, Randy being in the camera, out of retirement, up a weight class, talkin big trash about regaining the belt and beating the champ down like it was 2001 and Tim is Rizzo.
Tim has been laying low and that may pay divendeds on fighttime pressure relation.
Randy has a natural High Fight IQ and I hope he lets it all out on the line.

I hope Silva beats Couture. I want him (Silva) to fight Cro Cop, then beat him.

Couture will not win by sub he barely subs anybody and I'm sure Tim has really trained in it since Mir!
Tim will get owned period! No two ways about it, only people who are in love with Couture would allow themselves to be dupped into thinking this old ass one dimensional wrestler will have a chance.
Any logical thinking people need to put their whole life savings of Silvia because most die hard fans are betting on Couture it seems

Come on man...one-dimensional? That's a little shortsighted; don't forget that Randy HAS subbed opponents before, and he outstruck Liddell (who was already a dangerous and feared striker) in their first fight.
I agree the smart money's on Tim, IF he comes out aggressive. If he fights like he did in his last two, he'll get taken down and beaten senseless by Randy.

You honestly think that if ol' shit-britches tries to fight Couture the same way he did Arlovski III and Monson he'll pull a victory?
Nuh-uh.
Now if he fights the same way he did in Arlovski II, Gan McGee, and Cabbage (i.e. like an actual friggin' fighter), he's got a damn good chance.
