Hope they build up Hardonk and do not throw him to the wolves, he has world class striking as he trains under Ernesto Hoost, his ground game is very decent as well and he has good takedown defense.

He beat Wes Sims quite easily, he ended up finishing the fight with a key-lock, it was impressive and I see a lot of potential in Hardonk and think the UFC will build on him, especially with him being such a great striker but also having the other aspetcs to finish fights and force opponents to fight your fight.

Sorry correction, Hardonk trains with Ernesto not under him. Hardonk trained under Johan Vos with Ernesto for over 10 years. Hardonk has fought in K1 for a number of years as well. His current training partners are Ernesto Hoost, Jerrel Venetiaan, and Team Rickson Gracie.

Hardonk will be making a splash in the UFC, just give it some time.

agreed. They need to hype up Hardonk w/ some more cage experience an he will be good to go.

I think it would be a very good fight. It will just depend on whether or not Dana wants to "feed" Kongo to CC. CC would most likely win. I don't necessaily know who would be best to face CC knowing they would probably lose, i just think Kongo could be a real good fighter providing he develops so kind of ground game because from what i have seen he needs to work a lot on that part of his game. CC v.s. Kongo in Europe tho makes more sense than in the States i think so i think if it happens i'd be a good fight however if they try to save Kongo for someone else than i'd be for that also.

I would rather see Kongo and Herring fight, seeing as how they both are coming off loses. It would also be a pretty decent fight where the winner isnt as clear cut as Cro-Cop and Kongo would be.

Vera has one more fight left, why not feed him to the wolves before sending him on his way. Maybe Gonzaga, who really is not a contender at all even though he is winning his fights. Plus at least these two would at least put up a fight and not the complete ass kicking we saw Cro-Cop hand Sanchez.
