Mirko Has Fought Easier Guys in Pride

I keep hearing everyone say how bored CC looked; how it's obvious he regrets coming to the UFC b/c of the weak talent. Give me a break.

Sure Eddie Sanchez isn't the toughest opponent he's faced, but he's fought worse guys in Pride.

This isn't even including guys with winning records who aren't that great, like Waterman, Randleman, Oyama, etc.

Cro Cop has 4 losses in MMA and he had like 7-8 losses in K-1.
He is not some undefeatable giant.

But in the HW UFC he will be.

I just don't get why everyone is slagging Cro Cop vs. Sanchez as a match-up, when he's had much easier fights in Pride.

Mirko entering w/ the Pride music really sent the Pride nuthuggers into a feeding frenzy.

records dont make fighters. look at Coutures record. it's not impressive at all, yet he's one of the best fighters.

Kanehara took it to a decision (which was completley shocking). CC's cardio was awful during this fight.

Yamamoto put up a fun a fight. He was taking those leg kicks and was asking for more. Hilarious cuz after a while he stopped asking

I can also say, he's fought worse fighters in other organizations:

Inoki: Cro Cop vs Yuji Naga (0-2-0)

regardless of who he has fought, CC is rising to the top and that's all that matters. he was obviously going to fight weak opponents. the organizations aren't just going to allow him to fight top fighters immediatley. there is a REASON he has fought such fighters in the past.

Just let the nuthuggers be... they fear that the UFC is taking over the market, and it pisses them off that Mirko went to fight in the biggest promotion in the world, for the largest salary ever commited to an MMA fighter.

i keep hearing people saying he's getting so much more in UFC than in Pride. That's great for Mirko. But everyone is giving me differnet estimates of how much he's getting. Does anyone know exactly?

really? i've heard he's getting $60,000 a fight and another person told me he's getting $90,000 a fight.

i have no idea.

I don't think he looked bored, embarassed yes, bored no.

What was funnier than Mirko's bored/embarassed look was Sanchez swearing and cussing to himself like he had fucked up, as if he was winning the fight.

Mirko is just a gritty, quiet, guy. Not a Rampage.
