The most realistic number I heard was $2 million for six fights, though whether or not that includes PPV shares or other bonuses I wouldn't know.
Bullock, you absolutely right, CroCop was fed some unworthy opponents in PRIDE, and the Sanchez bout was probably more competitive than some of those. Given the way UFC books shows sometimes, I was surprised they even matched him up with someone who could defend himself.
Crocop is a big investment for the UFC. It shouldn't come as a surprise that they would attempt to recoup some of that investment by giving him opponents that could down in highlight reel fashion. Inevitably he will fight for he belt, so don't sweat it. However, if he fights Ross Pointon next, THEN you can complain.

there was a REASON
He lost to Nog and had to climb his way back up to the top. Makes sense.

He fought Dos Caras Jr. in Pride b4 the NOG fight. And he fought Sakuraba. Granted, Sakuraba was good back then, but c'mon that is a huge mismatch.

I dont think I would list Randleman as being in the same category as those others and Sanchez. Yeah Randleman has lost a lot of fights, but lets not forget that he did beat Crocop once and he even gave Fedor one hell of a fight. He was a streaky guy who could beat anybody not named Fedor on any given day, but can also lose to anybody too. Sanchez has no chance against people like Crocop at this stage of his career.

While I couldn't agree with you more , I think he is right about the fact that the people who are making the biggest stink about CC fighting Sanchez are Pride nuthuggers.
