How about they just eradicate all these crappy little UFC belts and just make the fights which will drive PPV sales? Let's have Tito vs Tim, Chuck vs CroCop, GSP vs Couture, Hughes vs Silva. That's all that matters really. The hell with belts and divisions, just make fights which will sell to the public.

I like Tito, but he doesn't have a hope in hell of competing with the
average- elite heavyweights.
I still think he is one of the best LHW in the UFC I think he would beat the likes of Forrest, Jardine, Evans, and probably Babalu

Stephan Patry said it on french TV that the winner of that fight will probably face Ortiz. He said that's the plan that the UFC wants to do for now. I'm pretty sure it's not 100/100 official

I said this a while ago when they said randy was coming back to heavy, i'd bet that if randy who some how that tito would be the first to challenge for that title, not because tito has earned it but that it would be a huge draw, tito draws big randy draws big and tito steping up to hw for the first time to challenge for the belt is big thats all there counting on

Tito was a big LHW. He's going to be a small HW. He always resorted on his size and strength at LHW. None of that sh*t will work for him against monsters like Sylvia, Arlovski, and CroCop. He doesn't have the skills either. I'd love to see CroCop expose him yet again by stuffing all his takedowns and then high-kicking his bleached ugly head right into Jenna's dirty used up p*ssy!

imo tito would lose to all of those fighters. titos worse than babalu in all aspects of mma (striking, wrestling, submissions) and could easily lose to forrest in a rematch. He may be able to beat Evans but that wont be for long and Jardine would (t)ko him 3rd round

The reason they do stuff like this (Couture getting a shot right away) is because fans know him and would love to see him. He's a big pull in MMA and that means bigger PPV revenue.

But is it just me, or does anyone else think couture is gonna beat sylvia? it could happen

not sure what to think of this?
Tito at heavyweight hmmm I thought that maybe it wouldnt have been a bad idea for him to fight a smaller heavyweight while waiting on his shot against Liddell. I know heavyweights arent exactly as stacked as say 170 but Im scratching my head to try to think of ANYBODY Tito can beat at heavyweight that would be a viable/competitive matchup. Im not a Tito hater I used to hate the guy but over time found some good positive things to enjoy about his showmanship and fighting ability but man Tito just isnt A level anymore at any weight class. I feel sometimes like Dana White is trying to protect him more than Lovie Smith protects Rex Grossman. I might chime back in on this after I have given it more thought but as of now the idea of Tito fighting at heavyweight let alone getting a shot sucks.
