Up until '91. Since then the quality has gone down in the manufacturing of them. but that article you posted was 100% correct.
Steroids have been linked to the growth of cancers but not conclusively outside of colon cancer and even with that the leading theory is that because most steroids cause growth in cells and does not discriminate between cancer and muscle.
Also like you said, alot of steroids are only for rehabilitation. in these cases they are actually used to treat AIDS and certain cancers

And steroids are legal now, they are used to treat many illnesses, but you must have a prescription for them, and you can always find a doctor that will agree that you have "Low testosterone" and will write you a prescription for enough money.

Steriods are something I know almost nothing about in all honesty. However w/ Randleman he has had a plethora of medical issues for the last couple of years. Do any of you think the health issues he is having now are a result from his past use, or current use. I as I said know very little about it.

for all your railing against the anti-steroid crowd, you fail to mention the dangers of steroid abuse. do you really think that the majority of athletes who use steroids to cut recovery time and magnify the results of training actually do it right? what about the non-pros who may or may not know how to properly cycle?

I understand that there is a lot of misinformation about steroids. shit, my mom uses a steroid cream on her hands to treat excema. but the way you present it, steroids are like this totally safe wonder-drug for anyone interested in athletics, which is not the case
