Rashad would benefit by just taking his time and waiting. Just like he stated in the interview that he is going to get more established first and gain experience. Why jump in there with the big dog and risk going back to the bottom of the ladder waiting ur turn at a title shot again? If he waits a little over 1 year like he said then he will be more ready than ever considering he continues to improve.

Anyways Rampage I'm sure will get the title shot first, I'm betting on it being his 3rd fight in the UFC.

Rashad said he wanted another 3-4 fights and about a year to gain more confidence, and learn more. He also mentioned him and dana white both agreed on that. So likely we wont be seeing rashad for the title anytime soon unless something urgent comes up and rashad gets the call. I can see them giving a title shot to rampage if he wins against beastman because hes comming into the ufc with a big reputation much like anderson silva did. I can't really see anyone else fighting chuck next i mean theirs rumors of jardine getting a title shot but i don't see it happening after only winning 2 fights in a row he doesn't have the reputation to hold a title fight yet. Unless of course jardine gets another fight soon and then he would be 3-0 and possibly get a shot. Between rashad and rampage and jardine im not sure where they plan to fit michael bisping in. Dana even said hes going to be a superstar in the ufc so I know they want to build him up. Bisping is only 1-0 but if rampage, rashad, and jardine are in line for title shots then bisping will probably be fighting a fair number of fights between now and a title shot. maybe 3-4? im sure he doesn't wanna sit around and wait for his turn hes probably going to keep busy. Unless of course the ufc is planning on sneaking bisping in for a title shot before rashad and jardine. But i really think the ufc will give rampage the first title shot, it only makes sense. The more fights chuck has the more chance he has of losing the belt and im sure they wanna market the lidell vs rampage fight when chuck has the title. Then maybe they let bisping win another fight then have a contender match vs Jardine (doubtful but id love to see it), and then give rashad a tite shot after that. Or perhaps the UFC doesn't want them to cross paths at all and give each of them (rashad, bisping, jardine, rampage) a title shot. Only time will tell.

and that of course is implying that they all win their fights. but nothing is for sure

I also just thought of something, maybe they do plan on giving jardine a shot because dana white said in an interview he believes keith was robbed of the win against stephan bonner. If you count that as a win for keith that makes him 5-0 in the ufc. Although not against the toughest competition its still a 5-0 record and most people will get a title with a record like that.
