Seriously now...Cro Cop and Couture coming back. Holy smokes this is going to b a good year for the heavyweight division. Finally.

Nice! And don't sleep on Heath Herring either, he has faced the best fighters in the world (lost to Fedor, Cro Cop and Big Nog) so he has that experience and is 6'-4" 250lbs of aggression. I think he will do well in the UFC.

c'mon man! herring had to face pretty much the best heavyweights in the whole world. cro cop is gonna make anyone look bad. he's gonna kick some ass in the octagon. he's a really cool charecter too. that guys gonna throw his weight around the cage big time.
don't get me wrong, ufc's hw division is still no where to pride's....but at least it's starting to shape up.
and as far as randy taking the belt from tim......i have a feeling it'll be a non title fight.

eh, I suppose the guy is somewhat entertaining. it was pretty hilarious when Nakoa kissed him. I've just never been all that impressed by him. I guess I shouldn't be too hard on him for losing to Fedor, CroCop and Nog

Well...I can't believe I forgot Herring. We all complained that the UFC HW division was crap (with good reason!) and now they have the #2 HW in the world along with the former (please God, don't let him embarrass himself) HW and LHW champion and then add to the mix the K-1 HW kickboxing champion.
I am semi aroused at the thought of a decent HW fight in the octagon...it seems so wrong, but feels so right....

UFC has the fighters for some good matchups now... hopefully they take advantage of that instead of what they've been doing in the WW division. I'd love to see Randy kick Tim "The Decision" Sylvia's ass, but I'm not sure he has it in him... I think the size will just be too much for him.

Maybe the new UFC rule should be that if you have a 8 inch or more height advantage on your opponent you have to fight on your knees. It just isn't fair that Sylvia can lay down and touch opposite sides of the octagon.

Actually, since he got dropped on his butt by big right hands from Arlovski twice and Assuerio Silva(rocked and cut Tim), he's been less aggressive and more cautious. I think he feels he could bite the dust at anytime if he leaves himself open and he wants to keep his title by any means necessary, regardless of whether he stinks up the octagon or not.

Honestly that is the first thing on this forum that has made me laugh out loud, great name. The heavyweight divison is started to shape up. I was wondering if the UFC got Paul Buentello back because I've seen a bunch of people on here mention his name in heavyweight talks. Hopefully some young guys could step up too like Gabriel Gonzaga and Jake O'Brien. If Vear sticks around there could be some real interesting fights in the near future.

I had forgotten about Silva giving him a scare. The worst thing is that it is so obvious that he is timid about the fight. Dana must be pulling out his no existent hair every time this guy fights.
Tim Sylvia...Do not ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee.
