Not a single decision??

Watching 66 I noticed all the fights fights that made it to tv all escaped going to a decision (bar one prelim i think but again didnt make it to TV) and only chuck and tito even making it to the 3rd round.

Whats everyone thoughts on this? Personally I think it worked well tonight as even if some of the outcomes were expected. Love fights staying out of the judges hands (mostly there are of course some great decision fights).

However could it be argued that all the fights were too one-sided and outcomes almost pre-determined.I mean the only real upset and even then its not too suprising is Jardine over Forrest. I suppose UFC was hoping Leben would win but I'm glad he didnt and expected MacDonald to get the victory.

Just kinda suprised by not seeing it go to the score cards all night.

(whoops just read that Singers fight went into the 3rd aswell)

I gotta agree. It's sooooooo much better when the judges are left out of the decisions. Besides, We would have been bombarded with controversy if the judges had been involved.

Lot less controversy when all the fights end without the asssistance of the judges decision. We have definitive answers to who won, instead of educated guesses.

"Educated guesses." Are you talking about the judges decisions or the MMANews forum members???

I noticed the lack of decisions as well. Overall I think it was a solid card all the way around. Even the prelims were entertaining. Hopefully Timmay Sylvia was watching and can re-learn what it is like to finish as a champion.

I gotta admit, Joe Silva is improving with his fight selection. He's usually one of the first in the ring to congratulate the fighters after the fight is over.
