I live in canada so i was wondering what are all the mma orgs that are based in canada.

I know there all the following
MFC
TKO
King of the cage canada
HCF
and that one that the crow promotes or something

Are there any other ones i forgot about.

ECC (Extreme Cage Combat I believe) based out of Halifax

Can't think of any other notable shows

UCW (Ultimate Cage Wars) is out of Winnipeg

Apex (has been shut down, I think they may be under the Harcore Fighting banner now)

I have a few general questions about MMANews.com, and its forum.

When was this forum created? The reason I ask is because I joined in June '06 and didn't really pay attention to how big this place was, but as time went by and people came and went -- and after Bullock told me we had something like 18000 new members, I really started to wonder.

And whose site is this? Matt Boone? Who actually owns it? AE Web Technologies, Inc. is the only thing listed on the DNS records.

And is there or will there ever be a way to see active members listed chronologicaly? Its cool that we can celebrate birthdays on here and stuff, but as time marches on, it'd be nice to have some sort of award system for like .... 5 years of membership w/out flipping out, or the like.

Just curious. Any insight would be appreciated.

Pretty sure forum created in early 2006 and there was nobody really on it. Matt Boone owns mmanews.com and then his other site which is wrestlezone.com .... about all I know. I learned of this site through wrestlezone because wrestlezone has been around for some years when I really watched wrestling during the attitude era.

Thanks for the info Banda. I stumbled across this site when it appeared first on a Google search I did. Joined the same day -- it was the 1st forum I ever joined. I thought Boone owned it -- in the beginning if I recall he was the only admin.

Kinda neat to think I may have been one of the earlier members. I wish Boone posted here more often, and I don't understand why some posters have been so publicly disparaging towards him.

NP, Boone I think just stays plenty busy with wrestlezone and this site and among other things I am sure. He used to post here last year more often but guess he got more busy. Luis Cruz was like the main person controlling this forum with Boone but then they had that disagreement and Cruz left and is over at cfzforums now.

I remember the fallout with him and Luis. That was very unfortunate, but sometimes happens in business. And I can understand him being too busy to post alot. I'm a freelance web programmer/project manager myself, and I have clients that pay me healhty monthly retainers just to manage their current sites. It can get pretty time consuming -- not to mention the investment it takes to generate new business and revenues through creative advertising.
