Do Athletic commisions in America allow fighters from diffrent weight classes to fight each other like they used to do in Pride. For example could Matt Hughes(at 170) fight Tito Ortiz(at 205)?

No you have to be within a weight class, so Hughes would have weigh 186 or more for that fight to happen.

Yes I did search before asking this. With UFC having a fight every month or so within two years the UFC will be UFC 100 plus. Does it still seem marketable to have, say UFC 117? Has an event who numbers each showing delt with this before? I'm not shure but I think if we have say, "UFC 129 Metioric Rise" it going to get old. What are your thoughts if any.

Beats me. UFC's marketing will figure it out though.

I've actually thought about this before. I think when we get to 100 it might be a problem. "UFC 117" just doesn't sound right, imo. Also it's going to be hard to keep coming up with catchy titles for all of them. At some point I think they should just call them by the main event - Franklin vs Silva, Serra vs Hughes, etc.

They could do roman numerals or something.

I imagine since it is in an Eastern time zone it will be 4pm. The weigh ins from Anaheim for 76 were at 7pm EST and all the Vegas shows are at 6pm EST, which works out to 4 pm EST in all cases.

That would be my guess. Maybe give or take an hour to be safe. Then again, it will be in Central Time, not sure if that makes a difference.

Either way, you should just take the whole day off. Just ask yourself, 'What would Couture want me to do?'

He'd want you to take the whole day off, that's what. And buy some Mickey's Big Mouths while you're at it. Support the UFC by Getting Stung.
