yah when ever they loes the belt they get to keep theirs and the UFC gets a new one for the champ. So everyone who has been champ has the same belt that they have carried to the octagon when they fight |

the belts r like trophies but a belt that is circulated when they win and dana puts it on them.

no generic ones, The belt tim had as champion he has now, once they got in the locker room dana probally gave randy a new belt and gave tim back one, like a trophy or like a reminder that they were champs but not anymore, everytime a new champ is crowned a new belt is given

This probably has come up before, but what about title defenses? Do the champs get a belt for every title defense?

This is correct, you only get a new belt when you win the title. You don't get new ones for retaining it.

it would be kind of dumb to get a new belt every time you defended it
