Evan Tanner??

I really liked Evan Tanner as a fighter and as a person but I have not heard much lately on him. His last fight was back in April. I thought he had a couple fights left in his contract but not sure. Lately I was seeing pics of him goofin around and taking road trips like he doesnt care anymore and then not long ago he said he was going to get back into training. I never heard anything more after that, anyone know whats up with Tanner?

I heard he is flat broke and a alchoholic, if thats true its a shame cause I also liked him.

It amazes me how much people like Tanner here. Threads like this pop up every month it seems. What is with Evan Tanner? Anyways, last I heard of him was on here when Chute Box team supposedly offered to train him to fight Anderson Silva. I thnk that was just a rumor. Tanner's been going around getting drunk and looking miserable. Whatever floats his boat I guess. I havent heard anything since. Even the idea that Chute Box offered to train him sounds bit odd. They dont seem to go together

i thinks its because he comes across as such a scraper

I was just making the point he was champion.
Tim Sylvia is a champion and I dont consider him championship material so I know where you are comin from, just makin a point
