Question about Quebec's rules
Hey all,
I can't remember what show I was watching on The Score, it was an MMA show based in Quebec, I'm fairly sure it wasn't TKO. They said in the rules that you couldn't up-kick an opponent in the head when you were on your back. Also when fighters were on the ground, in the ropes, they were immediately stood back up. I haven't seen enough TKO to know if these rules apply there as well.
My question is, are there any rules in Quebec that UFC fighters would have to abide by, that maybe they don't have to abide by in Nevada?
I'd hate to see GSP/Hughes 3 end up in Montreal then have some strange rules apply. I'm not sure if a cage, as opposed to a ring, is under different rules. Obviously the rope thing isn't going to apply.
