Yes ground control is a vital part of MMA, but what frustrates me (and alota people I'm sure) about Kos, is his lack of other MMA attributes. Not to mention his ego far outweighs his skills.

I understand that, but those aspects of Koscheck really don't have much to do with him being a better wrestler then Huges.

Nope, and I wasn't trying to imply that either. Kos is a better wrestler than Hughes. Just not a better overall fighter. Of course, if they meet and Kos wins, I'll be eating my hat.

rofl, he has better standup and could aviod the takedown, rofl he would ko hughes and his arm punches, and in the commercial for 65 it made it look like he destroyed penn when he got dominated until he got a lucky break. kos has way better standup and would ko him. after gsp beats him in the tiebreaker, id love to see penn beat hughes and then rematch with gsp.

Kos cant beat anyone standing except a weak chinned Goulet who was expecting a takedown. while his standup is better, its not beating anybody with any kind of standup
and while Hughes' standup sucks, his chin is good, and his defense isnt terrible, and Kos isnt exactly BJ or GSP.
and once it hits the ground, Kos is dead. he will get reversed and subbed, FAST. he couldnt even attempt to pass guard, or hold a side mount he got off of takedown from Joslin.

matto was i reading your post right, you said kos would ko hughes, i really hope thats not what you were saying, kos boxing sucks hughes boxing sucks , hughes would smash kos in mma, sub him, tko him, and id even go as far to say ko but pretty unlikely but still, kos has no chance at beating hughes unless a freak injury happens,
