Very boring fight IMO. Kos just relies on his wrestling. He still needs a lot of work.

It was boring but kos is still developing. Joslin impressed me with his striking, so why would kos stand up with him when he knows he can take him down at will. Yea he could have done a lot more on top but Joslin did have a good guard and did a good job controlling Kos's hips preventing him from striking the way he wanted to. It's not like Joslin was that bad that Kos should have destroyed him. He has a lot more work to do but hes still learning and i didnt think it was that bad of a fight even though it was boring.

Kos was also worried about getting caught in a triangle choke, since Joslin almost got him with it 3 times in the fight.
But I agree with everyone else...Kos was boring and certainly not very impressive. He did win the fight but with the amount of time he spent on top he should've finished the fight.

Definitely agree with that. In his last fight, I remember his standup looking pretty good. Not the case this time. He did the same thing he always does. I thought he was vastly improved, but I guess I bought into the hype.

JJ is a great fighter, Kos did good to pull out the win at all, you must remeber that he is so young in this sport and has pretty much just started.
He will be a force soon enough.
He was boring as hell tonight though.

I don't think I've ever encountered a Kos nutt hugger ..... other than Kos. Are you sure they really exist??

i think im a borderline kos nuthugger and even i was disappointed tonight. However, considering joslin most likely trained martial arts for over 10 years more than kos it wasn't all that bad.
