I think he should diet and cut weight to 205, that would be within reach and really help his chances IMO...

still wont be champion there, chucks take down deffence is better imo, it is sad that he is going to retire i enjoyed watching him fight well besides against tim

i think monson could contend with vera and arlovski and would like to see him stay in UFC until at least after sylvia loses to vera

I think if he could get back down to 205 he'd have a much better time, and could very well contend against most of those guys....Monson against Tito, Babalu, etc....But hopefully he can get healthy and change his mind.

Thats so ignorent to call monson a c level fighter. Isn't he a Abudabu champion. I guess C level fighters can when that. Silvia was just to damn tall for him. I would hate to see him leave the ufc cause of a decision.

Doesn't he have a loss to Liddell already? Why would he go back to 205? That was back when Chuck wasn't near the fighter he is now. (2000)
