Rampage Vs. Liddell 2 ???
guys i just wanted to know your thoughts on this. Instead of wanderli silva, why didnt dana want to give chuck another shot at rampage to redeem himself of the loss? I just got done watching that video and it was devastating especially in the end, when chuck was getting beat up by rampage!
I see chuck here at the local bars every so often one of these days im going to ask him if he ever wants to fight rampage again!!!
so what is chucks record anyway?

Good luck with that. I hope he knocks your stupid ass out. That was so long, Chuck was a skinny kid then. I love how every one in SLO "knows" Chuck.

It was three years ago - not too long really and Chuck wasn't a skinny kid at all. Plus, it is a reasonable thing to ask him thus nut deserving of an ass kicking.
In response to the thread, I think a lot of people would like to see that rematch including Chuck. The general concensus is that Chuck has improved but Rampage is in decline so most likely a win for the Iceman. However, there is no chance of UFC loosening their purse strings for Rampage - he is being paid an absolute fortune at the moment.
git.

Rampage would be making more if he came to the UFC, either getting the belt, or just the title shot. the WFA's base pay is more, but they get shit PPV, so the % of that is pointless.
and i really think Rampage has a huge chance of winning this one. he doesnt seem as aggressive as he used to be, but he still has all the freakish strength and ability. either way he would be a start in the UFC because of his personality.
Chuck hasnt been tested outside of fighting a bunch of wrestlers and grapplers, and Rampage has all the skills to take the strap.
if the UFC wanted to throw some major dough for some major players, Rampage, Hansen, Lindland, and Sudo would be some of the best pickups they could get on established guys with only a short amount of time left on their contracts with other orgs

Who would you rather have Chuck fight? Like it or not Tito is a fucking PPV machine, he deserves anything he gets from this. Considering how many fans that are either watching MMA now or will watch it in the future because of Tito it's pretty safe to say that he isn't going anywhere, no matter what you think of him. And I hate to break it to you but deep down Dana really wants Tito to win this fight because the only thing that will make more money than Ortiz/Liddell 2 is going to be Ortiz/Liddell 3.

I don't think so. I think Dana would like to see Chuck move up to Heavyweight and put on some good fights there. If he loses to Tito, that's not going to happen.

Lidell is a monster at 205, and I doubt he cuts all that much. He doesn't need to go up to Heavyweight, even tho that division is in serious need of talent.

Then what's he going to do at 205? Keep fighting and beating people that aren't on his level or any real threat to him? He's the one that mentioned going to Heavyweight and i know Dana had $ in his eyes when he heard that. Chuck taking on some Heavyweights like Sylvia or Arlvoski or even Vera, would be big draws.

Liddell is the same basic size as Vera, he walks around at about 225.
