Based on the record he piled up against bunch of wrestlers and grapplers that cant strike with him at all? Chuck tried his punches with Rampage and Rampage out brawled him and nothing has changed. Chuck's style hasnt changed at all and neither has Rampage. No reason for rampage to be imtimidated by Chuck at all since Rampage dominated him on their last fight.

What the hell are you talking about? Chuck is twice the striker he was then. Give credit where credit is due. That fight was along time ago.

I think he -may- have improved his striking (and wrestling) since then.
However, where is the evidence that he is 'twice the striker' he was then? He has only fought grapplers since, so I think you'll find the evidence is scarce.
git.

He's always fought a lot of grapplers. He just knocks them out alot quicker. I agree he has not had the opportunity to prove it like most would like but to say Rampage would beat him again because of that fight along time ago would be the same as saying Wande would lose to Tito because of the fight they had a long time ago. There are other aspects of this sport other then hand to hand. and Lidell has even admited that is he can beat someone standing up then he'll take them down. Lidell is obviously much more dominant then was then, no one can deny him of that.

That could mean his wrestling has improved so he spends less time having to get back up and more time in a position to land a ko shot.
It could also be irelevant since he has not faced any strikers.

He's fought less strikers (and worse/older grapplers).
If that's the best you can do to back up your insistance that he is twice the striker he was three years ago, then you won't convince anyone.

Until he loses by striking to a striker or grappler, I don't need to convince anyone. He'll do it for us. You will not be convinced due to your prejudice convictions (I don't mean that in a bad way). After watching Lidell fight in Pride up until now he is so comfortable striking I have not seen try to take it to the mat in god knows how long. He'll exploit a weekness quicker then any other striker out there.

Lets give Chuck some credit though....grapplers or not, these guys were among the best in the world when he faced them, with a few exceptions of course.

I've always given more credit to strikers who knock out grapplers (for the most part) just because they won't engage and constantly ties their hands up. I know some grapplers have no busines striking but really they have no business in MMA.
