yea, Gono had him a couple times but just stopped basically and didn't try to finish. It was disappointing to see, I like Gono.

WTF is the yellow and red card shit. They lose part of their purse, thats bullshit, what fighter would ever fucking sign a contract that says they can lose money if they dont put on a exciting fights, sorry to say, but every fighter should be looking to win, if its in exciting fasion so be it.

Fell asleep on the couch and woke up to the end of the Randleman/Nedkov fight.

I don't mind the yellow cards being given out as long as they're given properly. I think both fighters should receive one though. Both Randleman and Nedkov weren't really pushing the action.

The guy doing the Mitsuoka/Yokota fight is pretty good. He's breaking them apart when the action stalls during a tie-up and giving them plenty of warning for non-action.

BTW, yellow card = 10% deduction from fighter's purse, red card = point deduction.

I was reading the pbp on BloodyElbow and saw Gono's speech following his fight.

Quote:
I have a message for Dan Hornbuckle, though I know he’s not here right now. I have something to say to him that I couldn’t say after we fought, since I was completely knocked unconscious and didn’t come to my senses for four hours. So, tonight, I have a message for him.

So, Dan, first of all, congratulations on your victory against me in August. I think it was a big victory for you, and it was a big, big loss for me… but a good wake-up call.

Thanks to you, I’m completely woke up and have been training much harder than before. Now, I believe myself to be much better than before, much better than when you faced me. So, I want to rematch you. And for that to happen, I want you to win the title on New Year’s Eve, and I’ll keep training hard to be the first challenger for that title. I hope to see you in the ring before the end of next year.
Is Hornbuckle fighting for the belt on NYE? Do they even have a 170# belt? Guess it could be for the 185# title against Santiago, but I thought Hornbuckle is a natural WW?

man the commentary on that last fight was funny to me. Its funny to see both commentators completely making fun of both fighters although at the same time its bad?

Great win by Masvidal. He beat the crap out of Kitaoka. Kitaoka reminds me of Imanari...very one dimensional.

HUGE win by Khalidov. Kinda looked like Khalidov's first punch hit Santiago in the back of the head though. Too bad it wasn't for the title.

That was a great card. Sandro, Gono, Yokota, Masvidal, Khalidov and Omigawa all looked superb
