Kimbo cutting to 205? Where are you people getting that info? The article states they'll meet at a catchweight of 215.. he was 230 when he fought 'Big Belly' Roy Nelson. So really, he's only cutting around 15lbs. And seriously, have you lot actually read the article posted here? It seems the lot of you are posting opinions based off another article. Clue a wigga in, y0..

I think there are a couple Kimbo to try @ 205 rumors, but I think we are just assuming that this is a step towards that. Why take this fight if your intention is to fight and win @ HW?
Kimbo was 250 or over when he started MMA. Cutting to 205? Crazy....
you know, as much as I want to see Kimbo knock the fuck out of Houston, i actually hope he comes in and does something to surprise the whole world and show some kind of progression in the sport. We all know he has the power to knock out anyone he connects a real good punch with...
flying scissors technique to leg lock, hahaha...no but really, i hope Kimbo is the one left standing.
He has already its just that noone has paid attention to some of the skills he picked up from Bas in his prior fights.
I have seen Kimbo use Muay Thai strikes, guillitine chokes and leg sweeps in his prior fights (skills he obviously picked up from Bas). He has shown his abililty to pick up material quickly and hopefully he remembers now how to get out of a crucifix.
True i mean look what he did in his first MMA fight agaisnt Ray Mercer. He went for takedown and choke and won. Then you have an experienced UFC CHAMP who fights Mercer and gets knocked out in what 8 seconds? So i mean he has picked up gameplans ect. He just needs to learn more which hes open and willing to do so.
Im waiting to see one of them just be training nothing but ground go out their and submit the other in under a minute. That would be smart cause they both are expecting to trade with each other.
Maybe i'm missing something but is there a point to fighting at 215? If HW is 206 - 265, what would be the point of forcing either fighter to make 215?
Too hard to pick a winner in this one because they're both so one dimensional. Regardless of who wins I dont think it will go past the first round, if it even goes past the first minute. Someone is going to get knocked out quick.
Houston by KO, no particular reason, I just think he'll explode on Kimbo because he'll have no fear of getting taken down.
Did I read that last part right? Frankie Edgar vs. Matt Veach? WTF? People were talking about Frankie like he's a title contender. Now he gets Veach?

Sorry, what I meant to say in place of some kind of progression, is more progression. He has progressed considerably since his start.
i have a feeling Kimbo is going to take it to the ground and shock everyone. everyone expects him to stand up with Houston for the KO...and vice versa with Houston as well. If they value their careers that is...
