That was a complete slaughter. Vera devoured him, crapped him out, stood him back up, and devoured him again.

Vera whipped his ass....actually surprised me a little. Mir is a good fighter that will be around for a little while. He's jst not going to be champ again.

when mir was in his prime he beat wes sims, tank abbott and pete williams, all of which most people can argue they suck. he lost to ian freeman and barely pulled out a freak armbar against tim. i like mir a lot. i like his fighting style and his subs are great, but i don't know if he was ever as good as we gave him credit for. he never really fought the UFCs top heavies like ricco rodriguez or andrei arlovski.

all that being said, hes 27 years old, he lost to arguably the best UFC heavyweight, and for the most part he looked good at the start of the fight. vera's just that damn good. vera was fighting his former idol and i'm SURE he trained his ass right off to win that fight. mir still has some good fights left in him i'm sure. i just hope they don't throw him to arlovski in his next fight.

I'll give you Tank Abbott & Wes Sims(Though his charisma rules), but Pete Williams didn't suck. He was a well rounded fighter, and Frank looked pretty good in that fight. He wasn't elite or anything, but he definitely didn't suck.
