Actually, according to the poll in a thread here, it was something like 60% thought Monson would win

Yeh your right!! But damn, who would have figured he could keep Monson, a BBJ master, from taking him to the ground for damn near 5 rounds, and survive when they did go to the ground.

No joke, Tim not only survived, he pretty much held his own on the ground.
And GSP is amazing. I was hoping he would win, but I thought the fight was too close to call. Matt fought a stupid fight though. Why was he exchanging punches with GSP? Just my opinion though, he still wouldn't have beaten GSP tonight. |
