"PRESALE TICKETS TO GO ON SALE NOVEMBER 19

PRIDE FIGHTING is proud to announce our second show on American soil, PRIDE.33! The event will take place on SATURDAY, FEBRURARY 24th at the THOMAS & MACK CENTER in LAS VEGAS, NEVADA and will be headlined by Wanderlei Silva defending his middleweight title. Who will be the one to put an end his 5 year reign as PRIDE'S middleweight champion?

PRIDEFC.COM mailing list members will have the exclusive privilege to purchase tickets two weeks before they are made available to the general public. Event tickets will be available on a first come first serve basis, meaning PRIDEFC.COM mailing list members will have access to the best seats before the general public. Ticket prices will range from $70, $150, $350 and $700.

Ticket sales for members will begin at 10:00 am, November 19, upon the emailing of an exclusive newsletter, which will contain a link to a page with a password that can only be accessed by PRIDEFC.COM members. The password will allow members to enter the special shopping site to purchase their tickets. This chance to purchase pre-sale tickets is a limited time offer and is only available for two weeks, November 19th @ 10:00 am (Pacific time) to December 3rd @ midnight (Pacific time)."

I plan on going for sure. I was wondering how many of you guys are going. I know Wand is supposed to have a title match at pride 33, but anyone hear about any other fights. I saw the list of confirmed fighters for shockwave, but I'm hoping Crocop and Fedor fight in February. I'm not sure how the fighters would feel with a hw title fight with different rules. Thoughts?

I'm talking completely out of my ass, but I would THINK that if Fedor was going to fight then he would be the headliner?

I like how they pump up Wanderlei's "FIVE YEAR REIGN!" How many times has he defended it lately? High Octane against Rampage is the last title defense I remember. But I will admit Wandy has more defenses than others. When was Henderson's last title defense? Has he even had one?

Wanderlei's last title defense was against Ricardo Arona at Shockwave 05.

no Henderson hasn't had one yet. He had a non-title defense against Misaki, then lost to Misaki in the 2nd round of the WWGP.

You would think but you have to remember they are trying to force their way into the US market and their most well known fighter to the US market is Wand so he is goign to be there focal point for this event.

I hope they got some honest feedback from some fans and they will work on a few things. I did not care for the intermission. The fight card was lacking a bit as well but understandibly so, they were trying to focus on what the US fans want to see and they do not yet know what the US fans want to see.

IMO they will have great success in the US as US fans LOVE a standup war and Pride has so many phenomenal strikers and they have Fedor.

Yeah that's a really good point about Wand. And I completely agree about their success.

Should be a great show.

I hope they don't have that female announcer -she reminded me of the English host in the game show: Weakest Link - "You are the weakest link-goodbye"
Very annoying.

They had better flesh out the fight card soon, tickets go on sale shortly!
