WFA is postponed until 02/07

WFA "King of the Streets II" Postponed

For reasons yet to be disclosed the WFA has postponed follow up show World Fighting Alliance 5: King of the Streets 2, which was scheduled for December 9th in Las Vegas.

The show was to feature match-ups of the calibre of Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs Marvin Eastman, Heath Herring vs Pedro Rizzo, Ryoto Machida vs Alex Stiebling, Carlos Condit vs Jose "Pele" Landi Jons and more!

The WFA have promised to resurrect the card in February 2007.
Wonder why they pushed until Nov. Anyone hear anything concrete.

Hopefully they let the fighters take other fights in the meantime to keep active.

I didn't have a specific date so I guess this is new if it's legit. I just woke up so I don't know yet.

Either way, just a guess would be December was too crowded. Anyone realize how many events there is going to be next month?

2- ICONSport
8- Strikeforce
13- UFC: Fight Night
29- IFL
30- UFC 66
31- Pride Shockwave and K-1 Hero' Dynamite

That is just off the top of my head.

But the February 7th date doesn't make any sense, since it is a Wednesday.

Yep, a shitload. Bodog.com event, UFN event, UFC 66, Shockwave 06, Dynamite 06, Strikeforce, probably a bunch of smaller shows too.

the WFA card wouldn't of done good IMO. Considering how bad the last one did, I don't think this was a good follow up. Hopefully they can put together a better card in February.
