Lutter MW Winner, but looked scared of Silva

yeah hes like nice fight, cant wait, yea yea yea....barely lookin, and when he did much shorter so he looked up to him. I dont think theres any chance at all to be honest.

EDIT- Someones prolly gonna trip for spoiling it or some shit but Id do the same thing myself just wanted to let you know.

Yeah I thought Cote was really going to bang with Lutter but he got submitted pretty quickly, it has to be very disappointing for Cote he looked amped and ready to go with the stare down but....hey Lutter wins very quickly. I honestly think Lutter and Silva will be a good fight with Silva winning by KO of course...

Yeah, I think most people expected that outcome, though maybe not quite that quickly.

I don't really think Lutter looked scared or intimidated; he's always carried himself in a very low-key manner, and doesn't appear to put much stock in staredowns and that sort of thing. Silva's still probably going to knock him out, but I give Lutter more than a slim chance.

silva towered over him. wont be that good of a fight. it will still be better that the ww title shot however.

I don't know BJJ but when I see a guy like Lutter I get very confused. Is Lutter really good or is Cote horrible? Is Lutter freakishly strong or something because he doesn't look it. He is also pretty slow. I was getting pissed at Cote because Lutter was just backing him down slowly into the cage. Why didn't Cote just move to the side? Seems like he froze to an extent but I have to watch it again...

Lutter is very solid at jiu jitsu and a lot stronger than he looks, he just forced his will on Cote, and must have been strong enough to control him. I was surprised to see how much bigger Anderson Silva was than him. As long as Silva keeps that fight on its feet he owns Lutter, but on the ground Lutter has a shot.
