In all reality it does show how bad Kurt Angle would be for MMA. You cant turn the fights personal or eventualy someone will be seriously injured. That is not a joke, mma is a sport however a dangerous one. If a world class athlete seriously puts his mind toward crippling an opponent I could see it happening.
And that would set MMA back way to far, it is so young it could kill it all together. I put this up as a joke originally however as i think about what I read that sounded just like something Tyson would say before a fight when he was younger. And he would have his wife piss on his face? I mean thats ridiculous!

I don't know much about Bubba, but you're probably right. I have to imagine that Bubba was egging him on. Angle has probably been told to talk like this by others as well in order to hype a potential fight. I see another Ortiz/Shamrock II happening again. They are going to hype this fight to the death and when it finally happens it will be outrageously dissapointing. |

well said, it's easy for a mma fan to say ignore it and it will go away, but i'm sure wrestling forums are going crazy with this. its to bad really, i hope they never fight each other, and wtf kind of fight could you have on a talk show anyway.

That was not scripted, but they and Kurt didn't expect anyone to really show him up.
Kurt's a moron. I'm sure he's going to keep hiding behind his wife. Where are MMA fighters supposed to start if not on "bums and crackheads"? Maybe Kurt doesn't realize that MMA isn't scripted yet.
And if Dana did tell him all that stuff, I sure hope he wasn't dumb enough to believe that Dana was being serious. The only thing Dana wasn't lying about was the good PPV buys.

Personal like say.....Shamrock/Ortiz? How about Hammerhouse/ Chute Boxe? It's fighting man. While it is a sport, people tend to take fights personally especially when they don't like the guy. It happens in all sports. Football = Cowboys/ Redskins rivalry. It's just how it is.
BTW....Kurt was immature in the interview, but I still think he's the man. Maybe just cuz I've grown up watching pro wrestling tho....
