ya gotta stick with Fedor. He's an easy choice because he's probably the correct answer. He hits extremely hard, GNP is the best in the game, almost half of his wins are by submission, Coleman couldn't take him down, stuck in for 20 minutes with Nogueira while constantly pressing the action, picked apart CroCop and Nog's gameplan, knows what to do when he's in trouble (Fujita fight comes to mind, and also Fedor Coleman 1). He's a complete package.

fedor in my view, without a doubt. Frank is up there but i would put a couple of fighters before him. I also rate rich franklin pretty high but after that butt kicking he took, not sure, but have seen most anderson silva fights and he was regarded as the most technically sound striker in chute boxe.Rickson good too but i think a little afraid to fight good mma guys, his only no win fight was a draw to hugo duarte and he got butt kicked by tank and crawled out of the ring from mark kerr. I started watching mma at extreme fighting and ufc1, have seen all ufcs and all pride events, now pride is by far my favourite and ufc is going downhill fast. The 2 best heavy weights in the world now are Fedor and Crocop.
Maybe Bas would be up there if he had more fights out of pancrase, beat frank twice. Interesting to see what he does over the next year.

I still will take Frank even though everyones arguments seem to hold some merit. There is a reason Frank, Bas and Penn are my favorites.

I'd go with Fedor. He's the only fighter you can't make an argument against. And also, Pat Miletich. He was one of the first fighters to develop a complete MMA game, and he was pretty decent too.

Fedor is the guy
BJ Penn would also be it if he had a gas tank
Matt Hughes is almost there, but it is obvious he is much more skilled on the ground than in standup

Huh??? I'm confused now. Pat has 18 wins by submission, as opposed to 4 wins by tko or ko, and 6 wins by decision. I don't know if you are aware, but he did have fights outside of the UFC.
